House of the Ameias

Full restoration of the building.

The unique position of this building in the central square of Serpa and the characteristics of this manor house make this ideal scenario for a tourist program.

The project contemplates the transformation of the building into a Hotel, with cultural spaces, tea house and cafeteria on the ground floor. The integration of existing architectural elements, some from the 14th century, such as an arabian well, bring added challenges to the integration of the elements necessary for the present day.
